Vito Parente, Wine ConsultantVito Parente
Wine Consultant, Kirkland Living Room

A native of the Puglia region of Italy, Vito Parente grew up with a love of the arts—both visual and culinary. He learned the refined art of food and wine pairing while working in upscale dining establishments in Milan, where he became familiar with some of the finest wines in the world. An avid traveler, Vito has managed fine restaurants in Italy, Costa Rica and also in Barcelona, Spain where he studied photography, another activity of great interest to him.

Upon moving to Kirkland with his wife in 2002, Vito immediately earned his real estate license and has been an agent with Windermere Real Estate/SCA, Inc. in Kirkland since that time. When the opportunity arose to be a part of the innovative Windermere Living Room retail concept, Vito’s prior experience and knowledge were a perfect fit. Prior to its opening in March 2007 until now, Vito has been an integral part of the planning and direction of the Kirkland Living Room atmosphere and wine selection process.

“We have carefully selected our wines with great attention to small, but innovative producers,” says Vito. “Our goal is to create a varied and complex, yet approachable wine inventory.”

In addition to planning and hosting wine tasting events, Vito works with importers and coordinates relationships with partner wineries and local businesses.
